With this is mind we have designed our packages to grow as your business grows. We focus on quality, standards compliant web design with the intention of creating a professional, content focused site for our customers.
Nobody knows your business better than you and that is why we try to develop a strategic partnership with you in order to create a web presence that reflects your business. We will sit down with you and discuss the way that your business operates, the needs of your customers and how a web site can bring new customers to you. We can even work with you to develop branding for your business.
Through our partners we can organise a domain name (the part between the www. and the .com.au) for you and the servers that will host your web site.
To have a place on the web is not enough, people must also be able to find you and they will normally look for businesses like yours through a search engine such as Google or Yahoo. AUcs will help you to appear in web searches when people search for the products and services you provide your customers.
When you are ready to further develop your web presence we can work with you again to create a web store which can provide an additional source of revenue for your business. We can even provide templates that allow you to update the content of your web site yourself and manage your store and the training to take advantage of it.

Search Engine Optimisation
Having a website is not enough, people need to be able to find you on the Internet. If they know your web address (URL) then they might type this in to their browser, but this means that they already know about your business. They might be able to search for the name of your business, but that would mean that they already know of you too. What you need is for new customers to find you on the web when they search for your type of business. For that your site needs what is known as Search Engine Optimisation.
Many web design companies 'guarantee' top ranking in Google, the largest search engine. Google themselves say that nobody can credibly do this. They do, however, offer guidelines to make your website more visible on their search and other search engines like Bing and Yahoo do the same. Using this knowledge AUcs are able to build your site from the ground up to take advantage of the tools provided by Google and co.
We will research the key words that people use when looking for businesses like your and ensure that your web site ranks as high as possible in Google searches. We will not use some of the nefarious means used by other companies since Google regularly blocks off these techniques. We will build websites that are standards compliant and allow search engines to index the high quality content in your site ensuring that you can be found by Google.
While our packages contain certain levels of Search Engine Optimisation we suggest that you purchase an optional monthly SEO pack. We will then be able to regularly update your site and tweak it so that it maintains as high a position in search as possible. We will also send you monthly reports outlining how many visitors your site had and where those visitors came from. We can do this from as little as $99 per month.
eCommerce
Do you have a retail business and want to take it to the next level offering your product to customers around the Australia and around the world? We can set up an eCommerce system, complete with automated checkout and payment system, that allows you to easily add and update products, receive and review orders and take payments.
When we set up an eCommerce package for you we can add products and pricing and organise payment methods and we will show you how to use the system yourself so that you are able to operate your web store independently.

Maintenance
We like to build relationships with our customers and once your website is up and running the relationship is just beginning. We can look after the day-to-day technical management of your website, monitor the site, modify some content as required.
In addition we offer a monthly Search Engine Optimisation package. We will monitor your sites ranking in Google, target specific keywords and provide a detailed monthly report showing you where traffic came from and how you rank on industry specific key words.
You may purchase each maintenance package separately or together at a discounted price.

Hosting
All of our websites are hosted on servers located in Melbourne. Some companies use servers located overseas and this may slow down the speed at which you web pages load. Slow load times often mean people will look elsewhere before they get to explore your site.
The data centres we use are manned around the clock and had built in redundancy meaning a high "up-time" i.e. your site stays on the web.
All of our web packages contain email as well as web hosting. Once we have registered your domain name and allocated you serve space you will have an email address with your chosen domain. So if your company is called Swan Sprockets you might have a domain of swansprockets.com.au and your email address will be someone@swansprockets.com.au. This raises the professional image of your company and improves customer confidence in your company.
